KickStart 2014 recruitment is underway.  The programme is a combined part-time training / work placement programme aimed at people who are out of work and who would benefit from building confidence and getting experience which would improve their chance of getting employment.  We will be running programmes in Kilkenny and Ferrybank in the first half of 2014.  The first programme is scheduled to start in Kilkenny on 3rd February.

Jobsearch Workshop will be taking place in the Friary complex, Droichead FRC Callan on Wednesday 22nd January at 2.00 pm.  The workshops offer an opportunity to discuss jobsearch approaches and your CV.  Follow-on individual support will be available to participants

IT Training in Internet, Email, Digital Photography, Skype, and Social Networking will be taking place in locations around the county as part of Benefit4life training.  Programmes are scheduled for the following locations: Kilkenny City, Clogh, Castlecomer, Ferrybank, Freshford, Stoneyford and Graiguenamanagh.

Wind Industry training programme is currently recruiting for people from a construction background who wish to upskill to work in the Wind Turbine industry.  The training is based around the following elements: Introduction to the Wind Industry, Working at Heights, Fire Safety, Manual Handling.  All modules are Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certified.  Places are limited and David Coughlan (056-7752111) or Una can be contacted for further details.
